Privacy

Providence Eye is a private, single-user tool. It is not a product, and it has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.

It reads transaction alert emails from one Gmail account, using read-only access that the account owner granted and can revoke at any time from their Google account permissions. It stores the resulting transactions — merchant, amount, date, category — in a private database. Nothing is sold, shared, or published.

Merchant names are sent to Anthropic's API to be sorted into spending categories. No other part of an email is sent anywhere.

The only cookie is a sign-in cookie that records that the password was entered correctly.
